*1) a) Die Anlage der Additive umfaßt:
Stoffe, die Kunststoffen zugesetzt werden, um eine technische Wirkung am Enderzeugnis zu erzielen. Diese Stoffe sind dazu bestimmt, im Enderzeugnis vorhanden zu sein;
Stoffe, die verwendet werden (zB Emulgatoren, Oberflächenbehandlungsmittel, Puffermittel usw.), um ein geeignetes Polymerisationsmedium zu erhalten;
Salze (Doppelsalze und saure Salze eingeschlossen) des Aluminiums, Ammoniums, Calciums, Eisens, Magnesiums, Kaliums, Natriums und Zinks der zulässigen Säuren, Phenole oder Alkohole, auch wenn diese Salze in der Anlage nicht ausdrücklich genannt sind.
Die Anlage der Additive umfaßt nicht:
Stoffe, die die Bildung von Polymeren (zB das katalytische System) direkt beeinflussen;
Verunreinigungen in den verwendeten Stoffen;
Reaktionszwischenprodukte;
Gemische der genehmigten Stoffe.

*4) Gehört ein im Verzeichnis als Einzelverbindung aufgeführter
Stoff auch zu einer chemischen Gruppe, gelten für ihn die Beschränkungen, die bei der entsprechenden Einzelverbindung angegeben sind.
Stimmen die CAS-Nummern und die chemische Bezeichnung nicht überein, so hat die chemische Bezeichnung Vorrang gegenüber der CAS-Nummer. Bei Widersprüchen zwischen der CAS-Nummer des EINECS-Registers und des CAS-Registers gilt die CAS-Nummer des CAS-Registers.
